Lewis Brash is on a mission to bring Calgary together and shatter the Guinness World Record for the Loudest Scream by a Crowd — currently sitting at 127.2 dB(A).

This is a fully official Guinness World Records attempt, measured by a certified sound engineer with independent witnesses. We need 1,000+ people showing up and screaming their lungs out.

Yes — this is a fully official attempt following all Guinness World Records guidelines. A certified sound engineer will be on site to measure and verify the attempt.
Yes, attending is completely free. Just show up, RSVP so we can keep you in the loop, and bring your loudest voice.

No — Guinness rules strictly prohibit any mechanical aids, noisemakers, or devices that could amplify sound. All phones and microphones in the attempt area must be switched off. The record must be achieved by human voices alone.
The sound engineer on site will have real-time readings. Results will be shared right after the attempt, and official Guinness verification follows after the event.
For reference, a jet engine at 100 metres is around 110–120 dB. A rock concert front row is roughly 120 dB. We're trying to go louder than all of that — with just human voices.
